Inform Nutrition Ireland Ltd., the Cork-based manufacturer of animal premix and feed additives, has announced senior leadership appointments and capital investment to accelerate operational excellence across its manufacturing and supply-chain operations.
The Irish agri-business, which supplies feed mills, co-operatives and farmers across Ireland and international markets, is advancing a multi-phased investment programme launched in 2023 to improve efficiency, product quality and operational resilience.
Michael Slattery has been appointed commercial director, leading the expansion of commercial operations in Ireland and the UK. Slattery brings more than 35 years of experience across the agricultural sector.
Anthony Heavey has joined as operations manager, with responsibility for manufacturing efficiency and quality control. He brings extensive experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics, overseeing production, planning, quality and warehousing.
Philippe Mordier has been appointed procurement manager, contributing over 30 years of international procurement and supply-chain expertise across pharmaceuticals, utilities, energy and oil and gas.
The appointments coincide with Phase 2 of Inform Nutrition’s capital investment programme, completed in 2025, which directed €2 million toward advanced manufacturing technologies at its Cork campus.
Investment included a Concetti bagging machine that increased premix production capacity from 25,000 tonnes to 35,000 tonnes, alongside automated raw-material storage, a Promtek precision weighing system and facility upgrades. A new distribution hub has also opened in Watergrasshill, Co. Cork.
The company confirmed that automation remains central to its long-term strategy, supporting consistent supply during peak seasonal demand while enabling workforce expansion and upskilling.
