Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Austin, Texas is upgrading its clinical systems with Oracle Health to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and focus staff time on patient care.
The hospital, a 25-bed critical access provider with nine primary and specialty clinics across Central New York, is implementing Oracle Health Foundation electronic health records (EHR) alongside Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent to automate documentation and reduce clinician administrative workload.
"Choosing Oracle Health is a pivotal step in our journey to modernize and unify our clinical systems," said Jeffery Coakley, president and CEO, CMH. "With Oracle Health's integrated EHR and innovative AI-driven solutions, we look forward to automating our workflows, supporting our providers, and strengthening our ability to serve patients with greater efficiency, coordination, and care."
The AI-powered Clinical Agent generates structured notes from patient-physician interactions, allowing doctors to review and approve rather than manually draft documentation. Meanwhile, Oracle Health Seamless Exchange aggregates data from third-party sources, including national and local health exchanges, to create comprehensive patient records that support informed decision-making and care coordination.
CMH’s transition replaces fragmented legacy systems that previously led to duplicate records and workflow inefficiencies. Standardising processes with Oracle Health’s integrated platform is expected to reduce administrative burden, improve provider satisfaction, and deliver measurable operational gains across the hospital’s network.
"By delivering integrated, AI-powered solutions, we're enabling smaller hospitals to overcome resource challenges, connect care teams across their networks, and better serve their communities with high-quality, coordinated care,” said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Health and Life Sciences.
