Center Parcs Longford has reported another record financial year, with revenues rising 4% to €101 million and operating profits increasing 13% to €33.3 million, driven by continued high occupancy and premium pricing across its €365 million holiday resort.
Newly filed accounts from Center Parcs Ireland Ltd reveal the resort achieved an average weekly revenue of €1.94 million in the year to April 2024, supported by an occupancy rate of 97.6%, only marginally below last year’s record 98.7%. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew from €38.8 million to €42.8 million, underscoring sustained demand despite a modest decline in visitor volume.

Average Daily Rent (ADR) increased from €302.86 to €310.81, while Revenue per Available Lodge (RevPAL) rose from €298.80 to €303.32, outpacing the performance of Center Parcs’ five UK sites, where RevPAL reached €272.34.
Employment at the Longford Forest resort stood at 1,268, down slightly from 1,301, though staff costs rose 6% to €29.6 million. The company’s cash reserves more than tripled to €42.7 million, and accumulated profits reached €78.7 million.
Construction is underway on a €100 million expansion, adding 198 new lodges and luxury treehouses to boost capacity to around 3,500 guests. Opened in 2019, Center Parcs Longford remains one of Ireland’s largest tourism investments and a cornerstone of regional economic activity.
